<p><strong>Cologne positions itself in autumn 2026 as the central meeting point of the international interior design industry.</strong> With the second edition of idd cologne running parallel to ORGATEC, a joint Interiors Week is created in which Design Post Cologne is officially integrated as part of the trade fair for the first time. This brings contract interiors, residential concepts and urban design culture closer together than ever before.</p>

Exhibitors can use their ORGATEC presence from October 27-30 to attract additional visitors on October 30-31 as part of idd cologne and generate new business contacts.</p> <p>For brands that wish to exhibit at Design Post, the <strong>total rent is 350 euros per square meter</strong>, divided into 200 euros stand rental and 150 euros for catering, marketing, setup and ancillary costs – an all-inclusive package that, according to the organizers, should enable collaborative brand presentations with complementary exhibitors.</p>

<h3>Schedule and Course of Interiors Week</h3> <p>The entire Interiors Week in Cologne runs from October 27-31, 2026. ORGATEC takes place October 27-30, idd cologne follows on October 30-31 and also uses the exhibition halls, Design Post and Cologne city center. The goal of the partnership is to more closely interconnect the trade fair, city and creative scene and sustainably strengthen Cologne as an international design hub. According to the organizers, the interplay of residential, work environments and contract business creates a holistic perspective on the design of both private and professional living and working spaces.</p> <p>The fact that idd cologne continues in 2026 following its successful premiere in 2025 underscores the strategic importance of the format for Cologne as a trade fair location. Structurally, there are also new developments: From January 1, 2027, Koelnmesse takes over Design Post, whose previous showroom concept will end on December 31, 2026 – another step toward closer integration of city and trade fair.</p>
